About Us

The Middlesex County Republican Organization is dedicated to bringing the best quality ethical government to the residents of Middlesex County. Driven by the core principles of our Republican team – low taxes, lower spending, ethics reform, transparent government, open space, a clean environment and public safety, we have committed the organization to electing Republicans to the State Senate and Assembly, the Board of Chosen Freeholders and every town hall in Middlesex County! With hard work and dedication, together, we can achieve victory and secure a bright and affordable future for Middlesex County.

We invite concerned citizens from Middlesex County to join in our fight for good government. As part of our commitment to bringing quality, transparent government to Middlesex County, the organization invites all Middlesex County registered Republicans to participate in our annual convention. The convention is the organization's selection process for choosing candidates for the organization's official "Line" on the ballot. The Middlesex County Republican Organization is one of only a few county political parties to allow registered party (registered in the Middlesex County) members to participate in one of the most important components of Primary Elections. With a large base registered Republicans residing in the county, our open convention process has made Middlesex County a key battle ground county for every Republican Candidate running in a statewide campaign. The convention is also a rare opportunity to meet statewide candidates and hear speeches from important Republican leaders. We encourage you to be a part of the action

The Middlesex County Republican Organization is lead by Chairman Samuel Thompson and Executive Board under the bylaws of the the organization. The Chairman and the Executive Board are elected by Middlesex County Republican County Committee. County Committee members are elected from individual voter districts in each municipality. These same County Committee members also elect the leadership of municipal organizations.

To get involved please visit our contact page. It contains a listing of Municipal Party Chairs for each town in the county. We encourage you to contact your local chair and get involved! Visit our Links & Contacts page to find your local chairperson.
